BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT
Appointments may be booked by calling or texting us at 210-740-3250. We strongly encourage pre-booking at checkout to guarantee your future appointment that suits your schedule. We are a boutique salon with a large staff, walk in's cannot always be accommodated. We do offer complimentary consultations for color. Coloring services can be lengthy so please allow for time in your schedule.

We require a credit card on file for all new guests. Deposits may be required for particular services. Your stylist will alert you of any charges.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your appointments are very important to the team members of Gold Dust, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48-hour notice for cancellations.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked, possibly, months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply.

Less than 48-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount and forfeiture of any deposit.
“NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. For appointments made within the 24-hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 24 hours of appointment time, or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

When making a reservation, a credit card must be linked to your account. Multiple services or combos not be canceled 24 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. A credit card “HOLD” transaction may be made on your credit card to reserve the appointment time for specific services.

The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keep our team members’ schedules filled, thus better-serving everyone. Gold Dust policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION

As a courtesy, we will contact you to confirm your service appointments three business days prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and the cancellation fee. It is imperative that you confirm your appointment through the email, text, or phone call appointment reminders that are provided in order to secure your upcoming visit.

Children are welcome by appointment only
In order to ensure a relaxing environment, we ask that you only bring yourself unless accompany your child to their appointment.

We, at Gold Dust Hair Studio, have the utmost respect for the parents in our salon. Most of our team members are parents themselves and understand that this can be a sensitive issue. Moving forward, we will be implementing a new policy regarding children and their presence in the salon. We feel as a salon, children who visit during their parents’ appointments or children who are unattended in the waiting area pose a safety issue. We work in an environment that has sharp scissors, razors, chemicals, hot curling, and flat irons. If something were to happen to your child, it would not only be devastating to you and your family, it would be equally as devastating to us as a salon.

We encourage parents to visit the salon without their children unless the child has an appointment. During their appointment, children need to be able to sit still so that the stylist can perform a quality service.

Please understand that our concern is the safety of your child. We write this notice without the intent of offending and hope that you will aid us in keeping our salon a safe environment. Please contact us if you have concerns or questions about our new policy.

COVID 19
In response to the ongoing pandemic, we’re taking the following precautions:

  • Masks are now optional for those that have received their vaccine.

  • If you wish for your stylist to wear a mask during your appointment please let us know, and we will happily wear one.

    **If you or someone in your household has been exposed to Covid-19 in the past 14 days we ask that you reschedule your appointment. It is important to the health of everyone and our business to maintain a safe environment. No cancellation fees will occur with proper notice.

Color or Cut Adjustments
Our goal is for our guests to walk out of the door feeling amazing! If there’s anything that needs to be adjusted please let us know. We will do everything in our power to make it right, but we ask that you please let us know within 14 days if any revisions are necessary. Our services are non-refundable.
